Visual & Performing Arts

The goal of visual and performing Arts is the vital expression of self.

Annual programmes for Pre-K to Grade XII saw participation of more than 1500 students in theatrical performances.

The Visual arts department brought glory to the school with many of our students having been recognized by wider communities outside school.

Music and Dance give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything,
Matching this wavelength, we have introduced Indian classical form of music for synergizing the purity of mind and soul within individuals. The joy of Group singing was introduced for the entire School every Tuesday morning.

Dance

Dance is a medium of artistic expression where students learn non-verbal form of body language through rhythmic movements. It develops their confidence and teaches them expression of emotions.

Anand Niketan Maninagar offers semi-classical, contemporary, western, jazz and traditional folk dance forms to the students.

Music

Music is the synchronization of mind and body. Exposing the children to music during their early years of development accelerates their understanding of the proper meaning of sounds and their related words. Music enhances their memory skills as well.

Anand Niketan Maninagar trains students in different music forms like semi-classical, contemporary, western and traditional folk music. We teach different instrumental training like keyboard, table, bongo to the students.

Art

Art stimulates the creative side of the brain and enhances the memory, concentration and attention power of the child. It also helps in developing the reading skills and children can perform better in Math and Science. It acquaints the kids with new vocabulary and ideas.

Anand Niketan Maninagar follows Art integrated curriculum as per the guidelines of CBSE. Art and craft is a compulsory subject in curriculum from PG-X. Round the year students are involved in different art and craft activities and competitions. Students of Anand Niketan engage themselves along with dedicated Art & Craft teacher in beautification of their campus.
