Our curriculum is designed based on NEP 2020 where we follow multidisciplinary schooling to develop competency skill for making the students face real life challenges. Anand Niketan emphasizes on vocational and competency based skills throughout its curriculum.
The main subjects taught are English, Maths, EVS, Gujarati, General knowledge and Hindi.
Students have the opportunity to participate in many extracurricular activities. Assemblies and house activities continue to be important for excellent learning experience. Through their involvement in different activities children build conceptual knowledge and learn team building and group work habit.
Aanad Niketan Maninagar believes in imparting these skills since many years and for this purpose we have developed a club system because we believe in overall development of the students. Children have an array of activities to choose from - STEAM Club, Board Games Club, Hands On Art, My Aura Club, Haute Cuisine Club, Health Club, Astronomy Club, Bits & Bytes Club, Academic Enhancement Club, Story Telling Club are a few of them.
Students take part in series of performing art activities like Symphony (Keyboard & Vocal), Rhythmic Beats (Tabla/ Bongo), Western Dance, Semi-Classical Dance and Sports (Karate, Cricket, Table tennis, Football, Basket Ball).
Elocutions, debates, recitation, extempore, Dramatics, projects and ICT skills are indispensable part of the school curriculum.
